Documentation-based guide

Based on upstream documentation. These steps have not been independently tested in the desktop app; menu labels and behavior may differ by release.

Step by step

  1. Desktop editing

Official releases provide Windows, macOS, Linux and FreeBSD packages. Choose the system, architecture and package type explicitly; use the Launcher when you want managed updates.

  2. Browser editing

Our online page hosts the official PhotoCraft v0.7.0 web build. It requires a secure context and WebGPU or WebGL2. Open uses a file picker; Save and Export download files.

  3. Mobile expectations

The website adapts to small screens, but that does not establish a native iOS or Android app. Browser editing depends on the device, GPU and upstream interface. A desktop browser gives more workspace for this release.

  4. Preserve your work

The upstream web-hosting guide says there is no web autosave or crash recovery. Download work before closing or reloading, and keep important originals separately.
